From the KISS Museum Collection Part II, Peter Kriss "Makeup to Breakup" display with his signature and hand-drawings. Peter has signed a copy of the inner page of his autobiography with a drawing of him and his drum set and the year 2015 in black sharpie pen. This page is accompanied by a cardboard sheet filled with his ballpoint pen sketches, including a self-portrait, as well as the cover of the book. This KISS memorabilia came from KISS collector comes from Todd Dean’s Growing Up in the 70’s Museum in Logan, Ohio. Todd’s museum mostly consisted of his vast Kiss memorabilia collection, considered by many to be the world’s largest fan collection of KISS memorabilia. Among the memorabilia displayed were costumes, and personal artifacts from band members from all eras of the band. Todd was a passionate curator of KISS memorabilia and he obtained many of the items displayed in his museum directly from band members, their family members, including Peter Criss’s wife, Lydia Criss, the band’s original road manager J.R. Smalling, costume designer Maria Contessa, and other individuals who worked directly with the band. Todd owned and operated the museum himself until 2019 when he passed away. Cardboard doodles measures approximately 5.5 x 10.5 and the display measures 19 x 1.75 x 15.25. Overall very good condition with some glue remnants on the back of the frame.
