Eric Clapton's personally owned and played custom 2006 Taylor T5 Thinline honey sunburst acoustic-electric guitar.  Clapton donated this guitar as part of the famed  auction "Eric Clapton Sale of Guitars and Amps in aid of The Crossroads Centre" which was held at Bonhams in New York City on March 9, 2011.  The guitar, bearing serial number 20060901515, has a honey sunburst finish, sapele body, spruce top with f-holes, twenty-one fret bound ebony fingerboard with "artist" mother-of-pearl inlays, head stock with black facing, gold tuners, sapele neck, single lipstick pickup, three rotary controls, selector switch and an ebony pin bridge.  Very good condition. Accompanied by an original black Taylor mock crocodile hard shell contour case with black plush lining with handwritten label with various inscriptions including "TAYLOR LTUITAR" [sic].  Also comes with the original catalog from the Crossroads auction, a certificate of authenticity from Bonhams signed by Clapton, the original receipt from the sale, the auction lot tags, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
