Jimi Hendrix's personally owned and worn purple, orange, yellow, green and white scarf. Originally from the Herbert Worthington III Estate sale. Jimi and Herbert were very close friends, and they often shared and gave each other their clothes, accessories and jewelry. Jimi gave Herbert this scarf and subsequently the scarf became part of Herbert's Estate when he passed away. Herbert was one of rock and roll's most important photographers, with a career that started in the 1960's and lasted until his untimely death in 2013. His album cover photography is iconic, including his covers for Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks (he was very close friends with Stevie as well). Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance from an individual who personally knew Herbert for over 25 years and who then purchased the scarf in the Herbert Worthington, III's Estate Sale. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
