This historically important piece was stage played on August 12, 1967, in the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. James than sold the guitar in autumn of 1968 to his friend Bob Cianci for the unbelievable sum of $10. This guitar is also featured in the April 2010 issue of Premiere Guitar Magazine. Comes with a letter of provenance from Bob Cianci, a copy of the Premiere Guitar Magazine cover and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
