Tupac Shakur wrote this poem in prison to his girlfriend at the time Simi. Tupac was more a poet than a rapper and this poem shows his true elegance. The poem reads: “No more sad eyes, no more pain/ As soon as I hold u in my arms/ You’ll never cry again/ Please don’t be discouraged/ Please don’t be afraid/ As soon as I hold u in my arms/ I’ll never go astray/ No more broken hearts/ No more jealous friendz/ As soon as I hold u in my arms/ You’ll never need again/ Please don’t settle 4 lesser men/ Please don’t be on your own/ As soon as I hold u in my arms/ You’ll never be alone/ No more broken promises/ No more lonely nights/ As soon as I hold u in my arms/ Everything will be alright/ 4 Simi with all my heart 2Pac”.
