Pulitzer Prize winning author (Armies of the Night – 1968), playwright, journalist, actor and political activist Norman Mailer signed this 1979 typewritten letter on his personal stationery, to a fan and an aspiring writer, to whom he writes, “That’s a good letter from you. You write well for an ‘enthusiastic teenager,’ surprisingly well. It seems obvious you want to become a writer—why not? I guess it’s how it starts…” Very good condition. 7 X 10.75. Comes with a Beckett Certification and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
