Personalized to Congressman Paul Shafer of Michigan, former Heavyweight Champions Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney pictured shaking hands together have signed and inscribed this original photograph with Tunney jokingly writing, “At least Paul we look chummy..” Signed in black and in blue pens. The Tunney-Dempsey fight of 1927 known as the “long count fight” remains one of the most famous bouts in boxing history. Good condition with minor wear apparent. 8 X 10.
