A John F. Kennedy original Western Union Telegram from Kennedy to Maylor-Elect John Kubacki of Reading, PA and Mayor-Elect Frank Slattery of Wilkes Barre, PA, congratulating them and wishing the "Every success in resolving the complex problems of municipal government during your administration. John F. Kennedy" Stamp-dated Nov 5 1959. The telegram came from the Estate of Evelyn Lincoln who was Kennedy's personal secretary from when he was a Senator through his Presidency at the White House. She kept the telegram in Kennedy's Senate office files and then moved it to his files in the White House Measures 8.25 x 10. Overall very good condition, with a hole at the time and two staples where receipts had been attached to the back. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
