New York Knick stars, Walt Frazier, Dave DeBusscherre and Willis Reed try and stop Boston Celtic, Don Chaney from scoring, in this 8 x 10 original black and white photograph, from the file archive of Sport Magazine. This game took place on October 26th 1971 at New York’s Madison Square Garden and was won by the Knicks 106-101. The heated rivalry between the Knicks and Celtics produced some of the best basketball ever played. New York ended this season in second place to the first place Celtics, but in the Conference Finals, defeated Boston 4 games to 1. All three New York players have had their numbers retired and will forever hang in New York’s Madison Square Garden. Very good condition.
