From the Frank DiLeo Michael Jackson Collection, this is famed record executive Frank DiLeo's personally owned Adam Ant "Friend or Foe" original RIAA gold record album award that was presented to him. DiLeo, whose prolific career in the record business touched numerous artists, was best known as Michael Jackson's manager from 1984-1989, who won Michael's attention as Vice President of National Promotion at Epic Records because of his pivotal work in the extraordinarily successful marketing of "Thriller." DiLeo was also co-executive producer along with Michael for Michael's film "Moonwalker" and came back to work with Michael on his 2009 "This Is It" final concert series project that came to an abrupt end when Michael tragically died just prior to the first concert. Measures 16.5 x 1.25 x 20.75. Very good condition, with some wear. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity and a letter of provenance from the DiLeo family.
