KISS band member Paul Stanley's custom Washburn PS2000 guitar that he used on stage in concert at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on May 6, 2000 during the band's Reunion Tour. Stanley has signed and inscribed the body of the guitar in silver paint pen. The guitar has "Farewell Tour" etched on the silver star. The guitar is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity dated 4/14/00 with the model number PS20000MFBL and serial number 0004034 and production series number 6. The certificate states that the guitar was manufactured to Paul Stanley's exact specifications at the Washburn Chicago Custom Shop and is signed by Paul Stanley as well as the Washburn CEO and the Director of Manufacturing. Also accompanied by a list of dates that KISS performed in Cleveland, Ohio starting in 1974 and culminating in the 2000 performance and the hard travel case that bears two handwritten labels, one that says "Cleveland, OH" and the other one that says #368 Cleveland. A notarized letter of authentication from William B. Randolph, the Attorney for KISS Catalog, Ltd. also accompanies the guitar. The guitar comes from the personal collection of Terry Nix, owner of Guitars of the Stars, who was partners with the late Steve Carr. Terry's experience with KISS and with Steve Carr is extensive and he has built up an extraordinary collection over the years. In addition to the paperwork described above, this guitar also comes with a letter of provenance from Terry Nix and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity. Sold as is.
