The Who's Pete Townshend played this Takamine acoustic/electric guitar when performing"Pinball Wizard" live on stage and in the studio on the "Mark and Brian" radio show at KLOS in Los Angeles on July 29, 1993. The live performance took place in the parking lot of the radio station, and that morning the station had invited listeners to come down to the station with their guitars to join in a giant jam session with Townshend on "Pinball Wizard." Before the concert, Townshend sat in the studio for an interview and played a song alone on the guitar. The guitar was given specifically to Townshend to play because he was known for playing this model Takamine on tour. The model number is FP360-SC with serial number 92121514. It was a brand new guitar and Townshend was the first to play it. Very good condition. The guitar is accompanied its original case, photos of Pete playing the guitar live on stage and in the studio, a letter of provenance from the artist relations manager at Takamine Guitars, a letter of provenance from a producer of the Mark & Brian Show, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
