Elvis Presley's stage worn lilac scarf with his printed facsimile signature that he gifted to a fan who was a girlfriend of a gentleman who was friends with some of Elvis's inner circle. Elvis wore the scarf on stage while performing in December 1975 at the Las Vegas Hilton (his next-to-last Las Vegas Hilton Engagement). The scarf comes with an original Dinner Menu, Souvenir Folio and rare “Pancake Button” with safety pin and easel. The button was called a Pancake button due to the diameter. In addition to a safety pin on the back it has an easel which allows it to be displayed. This button came in a three inch or six inch size and the six inch Pancake Button is much more rare, probably because it was much more expensive to purchase. However the real desirability in this lot is the scarf itself which is absolutely covered in perspiration and make-up stains to the point that the acidity in the perspiration caused several areas of the scarf to turn white. More than likely this is the scarf that Elvis walked on stage with and probably wore it through the first three to four songs which is why it ended up with so much evidence of Elvis wearing it. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the woman whom Elvis gave the scarf to and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
