Michael Jackson original Greg Hildebrandt signed artwork for a costume Jackson was to wear in a movie, playing a fairy tale character. This artwork was commissioned By Michael Jackson. Acrylic on board, unframed, measures 27 x 21. During the 1980’s Greg Hildebrandt was introduced to Michael Jackson and it turned out that Michael was a fan of Greg’s work. Michael was such a big fan that he purchased the original painting that was the cover of Greg’s Peter Pan book. In the 1990’s Greg was commissioned to work on the concept art for a film that would feature Michael as a classic fairy tale character. What followed was a number of concepts that featured Michael as a male version of a Cinderella type character. This painting was the design for the final costume that Michael would wear in the movie. Michael is seen leaping gracefully into action–a majestic figure who is fierce and fearless! Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
