Stuart Sutcliffe original hand inscribed drawings in black ink that he has also inscribed to his girlfriend Astrid Kircherr. Below his drawing at the top Sutcliffe has written, "He, he, he, do you know what our little friend is doing today. Look when they have try to touch them she has fight them." Then next to a tree he has written "smiling tree of love?" with an arrow, and next to his drawing of what appears to be himself he has drawn an arrow and has written inside it "your heart", and then to the right of that he has written "to Astrid". Under the next sketch he has written "hello and goodnight beauty sleep well, and dream of your little feller, Stuart. A big kiss from me. X." Measures 5.5 x 11.75. Very good condition.
