A Jimi Hendrix Experience original concert poster for their sow on May 7, 1969 at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Coliseum at the University of Alabama. Between 1969 and 1977 many of the leading rock bands played at the University of Alabama. Jimi Hendrix started the concert series on this date. Concert posters created for this Hendrix concert were simple. They were printed locally and hung up in music and book stores around town. Measures 12 x 9. Overall good condition, with wear including some fading. There is handwriting in ballpoint pen on the upper left and right corners, "UA" (for University of Alabama) and "Circa 1969".
