This black t-shirt was owned and worn by legendary guitarist “Slash” (Saul Hudson), of the Rock N’ Roll groups Guns N’ Roses, Snakepit and Velvet Revolver. The faded black cotton t-shirt has “No Way, Get Fucked, Fuck Off!” silk screened on the front and “The Angels” on the back. The quote is considered one of the most famous audience chants in Australian rock history. The Angels claim it was first shouted at a show held in the mining town of Mount Isa, Queensland. The phrase was counter sung by audiences in response to the phrase, “Am I ever going to see your face again?” This shirt was acquired directly from “The Collection of Slash” auction March 26, 2011.

Slash’s critically acclaimed guitar playing along with his visual presence and raw stage performance helped turn Guns N’ Roses into rock and roll legends, and to date the band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Slash is considered by many to be one of the greatest guitarists in the history of rock and roll. His opening riffs on such G N’ R songs as “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” remain some of the most universally recognizable guitar parts ever written. Europe’s best selling guitar magazine “Total Guitar” ranked his opening to “Sweet Child O’ Mine” at # 1 of the “100 Greatest Riffs” list in 2004, and “Guitar World” listed his solo from “November Rain” as # 6 on their list of "The 100 Greatest Guitar Solos" in 2008. Slash was honored with a star on the Rock Walk of Fame in 2007.

The item is in good condition with minor evidence of wear. This shirt was acquired directly from Slash’s personal wardrobe collection and is accompanied by a Golden Closet Certificate of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
