Tupac Shakur hand-wrote and signed this two-page love letter and four song lyrics or poems to Simi, when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility. Tupac and Simi had been corresponding after she initially wrote to him with her photo and over the months their relationship deepened until Tupac was quite in love with her. A total of five pages, the letter is handwritten and signed twice in ballpoint pen on two sides of an 8 x 10.5 sheet of lined notebook paper. In the letter Tupac asks her many questions about herself, wanting to get to know her better and promising her that he's not an "infatuated stalker", saying that "it's just I am passionate and curious and eager 2 know U." He signed the letter twice, "Thinkin of U 2PAC and IVever 2PAC." The letter is accompanied by four separate sheets, each with a love song or poem, written by Tupac for Simi. He has handwritten each page in blue ballpoint pen and dated each page Aug 26, 1995 in red ballpoint pen. He has signed each page, with one page signed twice at the top and at the bottom. The poems/songs are titled, "I'm Not Supposed 2 Want U," "As Soon As I Hold U In My Arms," "All (picture of an eye) Was Lookin 4," and "The Man Who Never Had." The letter and poems/songs are accompanied by the original 9.5 x 4 envelope hand addressed by Tupac, with his handwritten return address and inmate number. He has also written on the envelope "*Please Don't Bent Picture Enclosed*". The envelope is post dated August 29, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition.
