This is Tupac Shakur's signed deposition affidavit for the 1993 shooting case in which he was accused of shooting two police officers. Tupac has boldly signed the affidavit in blue ballpoint pen. The affidavit is dated May 19, 1996, and in it Tupac swears that the statements he made in his deposition on the case were true. In the deposition he has testified that he did shoot the two officers. The incident happened in October 1993 when Shakur was a passenger in a car when two off-duty police officers, who were brothers, claimed that the car nearly struck them when they were crossing the street. An altercation ensued and Tupac shot both the officers, and one of the officers shot at the car. The prosecutors ended up dropping the charges against both parties, however the police officers filed a civil suit against Shakur and Shakur countersued saying that one of the officers had made false accusations and that the shooting was justified. Very good condition. From the personal collection of a very close friend of Tupac's, who was considered part of their family, the set list comes with a letter of provenance from this individual. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
