Of great rock & roll historical significance, this is the original "I Want to Hold Your Hand" Record of the Year Grammy Award Nomination plaque presented to The Beatles for the 1964 awards period. This was the first year the Beatles were nominated for the Grammys and the this nomination was their first nomination for record of the year. They were also nominated that year for Best Contemporary Song for "A Hard Day's Night" and they took home the Grammys for Best New Artist and Best Performance by a Vocal Group for "A Hard Day's Night." A stellar start to what would become one of the all time greatest groups in the history of rock and roll. Measures 8.5 x 10.5 x .5. Overall very good condition, there is some chipping to the bottom left corner and some discoloration at the bottom as well. Please see images that appear here.
