Former heavyweight champion Ken Norton chases Muhammad Ali around the field at Yankee Stadium prior to their 1976 fight in this impressively sized 40 X 29 black and white photograph that has been boldly signed by Norton in blue sharpie pen. This was the last fight in the Ali – Norton trilogy. Norton famously broke Ali’s jaw in their first bout in 1973, becoming only the second fighter to defeat Ali as a professional. Ali won the second fight fought later that year to regain the Heavyweight Championship title. The awesome surrounding of Yankee Stadium provided the venue for this last fight between these two titans on September 28, 1976. While Ali won this fight in a 15 round unanimous decision, it remains one of the most highly contested decisions in Heavyweight fight history. This great image of these two fighters cavorting around the Stadium wearing their dress shoes brings a smile to the face of even the most serious fight fan. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certicate of Authenticity.
