Led Zeppelin's John Bonham owned and used brown leather wallet with his "JB" monogrammed initials. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate, who passed away in 2018. Pate was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. Durng his long career, Pate and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large colleciton of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. When travelling on concert tours, Pate would often obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members and venue staff. This monogrammed leather wallet was given to a venue employee by drummer John Bonham in the 1970's after a concert. The employee saw the wallet and joked to Bonham that they had the same initials, and John gave him the wallet. Later, Pate purchsed the wallet from the emploeyee for his collection and it has been in the Pate collection ever since. Very good condition. Comes with a letter from Clarine Pate on their PBA Pate Booking Agency letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
