Jimi Hendrix has signed this original color Kodak color photograph in black felt tip marker, adding a heart. The photograph was taken in 1968 in Sweden and shows Hendrix sitting with two young women on either side of him. The photo was inscribed on the back by one of the women, "Tina. Jimi Hendrix och jag. 14 jan 1968" in blue ink. Hendrix, Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell arrived in Sweden for a tour on January 3, 1968 when there was an "incident" with Hendrix in Mitch Mitchell's room at the Hotel Opalen in Goteborg (Gothenburg). The band went on to perform concerts in Sweden and Denmark, being interviewed along the way, with Hendrix returning on January 9th to be questioned by the police in Gothenburg. Hendrix ended up having to stay through the 15th, having to appear once a day at the station, while Redding and Mitchell returned to England on the 9th. Measures 3.5 x 3.5. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
