Jim Morrison Stage Worn and Owned Brown Suede Fringe Jacket.

With the Monte-Rey en Gamuzay Piel label, this gorgeous brown suede fringed jacket was made in Mexico.

Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. For over four decades Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the United States and internationally. During his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Back in the 1960s - 1980s little was thought about saving performers clothing and accessories because few had the foresight to see they would have value in the future. Irwin Pate had that foresight, and thus put together a truly impressive collection that includes this Jim Morrison jacket. According to the letter of provenance, Jim wore the jacket on stage and then left it at the venue, where Irwin rescued it. The jacket remained safely in the Pate Collection for decades.

Size: A "34" is handwritten on the label, which may indicate Men's size 34.

Condition: Very good vintage worn.

Authenticity: Letter of Authenticity from Irwin Pate's late wife Clarine Pate on Pate Booking Agency Letterhead, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
