George Michael stage worn elaborate black denim jacket with silver metal "epaulettes", an animal print collar and a beautiful white bird stitched on the back. From the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. Pate was well-known in show business for over four decades, working with entertainers all over the United States and Internationally, some of the most legendary performers from the 1960's through the 1990s. When traveling on concert tours Pate would often obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members or venue staff. George Michael left this stunning jacket in his dressing room after a concert where it was found by a venue employee. The employee later gave it to Pate after he told the employee about this collection. Very good condition. Comes with a letter from Pate's widow, Clarine Pate, on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
