Hall of Famer Clark Griffith, former major league player (1891-1914), Manager (1901-1920), and owner of the Washington Senators (1920-1955) has signed this interesting letter typed on his Washington American League Base Ball Club stationary in which he encourages the parent of a 15 year old boy to have him remain in school and when ”… he is 17 years old and finished school he should then contact me about getting a job in Baseball.” 8 X 10.
