These are Chubby Checker's stage worn black ankle boots. The boots were originally obtained at a 1992 charity auction, The current owner, who obtained the boots from his friend who had obtained them at the auction, personally wrote to Mr. Checker to confirm that they had indeed been donated to the charity auction. Good condition. These boots come with a letter of provenance, a plaque, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
