This original Charles Hamilton Autographs Catalog Number 10, is one of the first catalogs put out by Charles Hamilton, considered one of the premier autograph authenticators of his day. Hamilton opened his gallery on Madison Avenue, New York City in the early 1950s. This particular catalog is dated 1958 on the last page, and states "This catalog was written and designed by Charles Hamilton MCMLVIII." Signatures evaluated in the catalog include Sir Francis Drake, Queen Elizabeth I, Rasputin, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. This is a great opportunity to check catalog prices for authenticated autographs from the 1950s, from one of the most respected authenticators in the business. Very good condition.
