A Hillerich & Bradsby, Model number 125R bat used in a 1945 baseball game between soldiers and touring sports personalities on the Marianas Islands in the Pacific during World War II. According to family tradition, the bat was used by a Navy Seabee to crack a game winning home run and afterwards split and signed by all players including Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese and Johnny Mize, along with notables Johnny Vander Meer, Del Ennis, George Dickey, Red McQuillen, Joe Grace, Gene Woodling and Bob Klinger. The bat is accompanied by a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Certificate of Authenticity, a short family history of the bat, a two-page handwritten letter from Pee Wee Reese discussing the bat and his recollections of touring the Pacific during World War II, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity
