Tupac Shakur hand-wrote this one page love letter and poem/lyrcs to Simi when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995. Tupac and Simi had been corresponding for a few months after she initially wrote to him with her photo and over the months their relationship deepened until Tupac was quite in love with her. The letter and the poem/lyrics are written on two pages of 8 x 10.5 lined notebook paper. In the letter, written and signed in blue ballpoint pen, Tupac tells Simi he his sending her "a few soft words 2 get u through these Hard Dayz" and signs it "Love 2PAC" further thanking her for the pictures she sent and telling her she will not be forgotten. The poem, or lyrics, are handwritten by Tupac in black ballpoint pen and, dating them July 26, 1995 and titling them in red pen, "God Creates Woman", and then "4 Simi exclusively by 2PAC". He has numbered each section in red pen as well. The poem/lyrics are a paean to women, where he expresses his admiration and describes how God created them to "help us make it through." Very good condition. Accompanied by the original 9.5 x 4 envelope hand addressed by Tupac, with his handwritten return address and inmate number. The envelope is post dated August 3, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
