Beatles “Yesterday and Today” Stereo Second State Butcher Cover (Capitol 2553, 1966). An album created for American consumption, “Yesterday and Today” hit #1 on the charts like all the other Capitol/ Apple LP releases between 1965 and 1970, but it's more remembered for its original pressing's "Butcher Cover." This copy has had the infamous cover pasted over with the non-controversial "trunk" cover. Very easy to see Ringo's face and black shirt coming through the white area on the right of the cover. Album is in fair condition, with some scuffing and age. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
