This custom patchwork dress was made for Spice Girl “Ginger Spice” Geri Halliwell to wear for the 1998 Brit awards. This thigh high, patchwork style mini dress was designed and made by Academy Costumes for Geri for the Spice Girls performance at the Brit Awards. , Geri switched out the outfit for a different one at the last second and so the dress was never worn to the Brits. Geri instead wore a red velour dress also made by Academy Costumes. The iconic dress that never was. Very good condition. The dress comes with a letter of provenance from Adrian Gwillym and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
