Sammy Davis Jr.'s personally owned medal that was awarded to him by the American Academy of Achievement at their Banquet of the Goldenplate. This heavy golden medallion measures 2.5 inches in diameter and hangs on a yellow and white ribbon. On the front is engraved "Gathering of the Great". This medal originally came from Sammy Davis, Jr.'s personal collection and was sold at the bankruptcy sale. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
