Hall of Fame catcher, Roger Bresnahan signed this piece. Bresnahan popularized the usage of protective gear in baseball. He was partially responsible for developing the first batting helmet, in addition to wearing shin guards and other catcher's protective gear. After his playing career, Bresnahan became a manager.
