From the personal collection of Charles, the model for Robert Mapplethorpe's famous "Charles Torso 1985" photo session, this is an original black and white 11 x 14 work print photograph that Mapplethorpe gave to Charles in his studio on 23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in New York City. With a couple of small surface tears on the white border, lower left corner. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from in which he states that Mapplethorpe gave him the print and details his photo sessions with the famed photographer who in turn made into one of the most famous art-photography models of all time. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
