Ray Schalk signed preprinted thank you card sent to well-wishers upon his 1955 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Schalk debuted with the Chicago White Sox in 1912 and is considered one of the greatest defensive catchers of his era. The 5.5 X 4.5 card is specially signed Ray Cracker Schalk. “Cracker” being his nickname who some say was earned because he cracked the whip over the pitchers throwing to him. Rare to find his signature signed in such a way. Excellent condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
