This rare pictorial privately published Muhammad Ali promotional program (circa 1970s) formally from the collection of one of Ali’s trainers and cornermen Wali Muhammad features six pictures of Ali including its cover and another of Ali at the age of 11, then known as Cassius Clay poised to fight in the Golden Gloves. The back cover pictures a collage of pictures taken boxing in the ring versus many of his opponents that he defeated, including: Sonny Liston, Jerry Quarry and Henry Cooper. One of the pages lists Ali’s record through his December 26, 1971 TKO of Juergen Blin in Zurich, Switzerland having fought in 35 fights, winning 34 (26 by knockout or technical). Another page pays tribute to Ali as “Champion of the People,” and one other page pictures seven former Heavyweight Champions and lists Champions beginning with John L Sullivan (1882-1892) through Joe Frazier (1968-1972). Eight pages excluding front and back covers. 7.5 X 10. Light discoloration in upper left corner of front cover. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity
