A very rare, original vintage Beatles "Butcher" cover for their album "Yesterday and Today" that has been signed by the cover photographer Robert Whitaker in black sharpie pen. One of the most, if not the most, controversial rock and roll album covers of all time, the cover was only out briefly before it was pulled from shelves and recovered with a new photograph, and all other subsequent copies were printed with the new cover. Obtaining an actual "Butcher" cover is rare, and having one that is signed by the cover's photographer Robert Whitaker is rarer still. This vintage, original cover is in good/fair condition showing wear but Whitaker's signature is bold and strong. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
