This iconic shirt is one of the silk polka dot shirts Prince wore during his iconic Musicology tour in 2004. Prince gave this shirt to Jeff Richter who edited concert footage of the 2004 Detroit show. Prince wore this shirt during the concert, as well as throughout the tour beforehand. When the footage was shown, the shirt seemed more black then blue. Prince being the perfectionist he is, insisted that the film be color corrected to reflect the blue color. In order to get the color exactly right, he sent one of the shirts he wore during the concert to Richter to get the exact blue color. An incredible shirt that can be seen throughout photoshoots and concert footage from the 2004 tour. Comes with a letter of provenance from Jeff Richter's wife Tracey Richter, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
