An incredible game worn & advertisement worn jersey by the soccer superstar Pele. The jersey was featured in a 1972 Brazilian Advertisement. The jersey is also signed by him and various other members of the Brazil national team. The jersey shows a ton of age and wear, with various stains and other markings on the jersey. The jersey was given to former teammate and friend Roberto Carlos, to which his wife later sold the jersey. The jersey has the “PENALTY” tag on the shirt and has the three stars over the CBD emblem, representing his three world cup wins. Stitched on the back of the jersey is Pelé's uniform number 10 in green numbering. The jersey shows heavy wear, possibly being worn earlier in the 1970-1971 season. Jersey is guaranteed to pass MEARS authentication, and we can facilitate this process if the winning bidder chooses. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
