Mounted to rice paper on trimmed stationery from the Ocean View Hotel (Block Island, RL) is this handwritten note signed by P.T. Barnum, renowned showman and founder of what would become the famous Barnum & Bailey Circus (1971-2017). Dated July 15, 1884, Barnum extends his “…best wishes for a life of happiness.” Very good condition. 7.5 X 5. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
