This Wilson professional model A2000 Fielder’s glove was worn by Hall of Fame right hand pitcher Nolan Ryan. The glove displays substantial use in the the pocket, face of the web and throughout the body of the glove. The web, a solid diamond Laced MacGregor web, has replaced Wilson’s dual hinge web. “Ryan” is on the back of the thumb sleeve in black marker. The modifications have to do with Ryan’s endorsement of the Spalding gloves. The original web was Wilson’s familiar and easily identifiable Dual Jungle style. The web was replaced with the Diamond Laced Style. Various images show this modification. Nolan Ryan played for the California Angels while using this glove during 1976-1977. A must-have for any serious Ryan collector. Comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
