Mickey Mantle is signed on the sweet spot. Boston Red Sox pitcher Lonborg pitched Mantle’s final home run ball and has signed this baseball with his inscription, “Mantle’s last HR #536 9-20-68,” and Chicago White Sox pitcher Gumpert who gave up Mantle’s very first homerun signed with the inscription, “Mantle’s 1st MLHR, 5-1-51.” Mantle signature is light but fully legible.
