Civil Rights Activist Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has signed this Springfield College 1964 Commencement program in vintage ballpoint pen. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the commencement address at the June 14 graduation ceremony in which he spoke about social change, poverty, and brotherhood, saying “We must all learn to live together as brothers or we will all perish together as fools.” One of the students was so moved they decided to get this program autographed, beautifully on the cover. One of the most complete autographs by Mr. King we have ever seen. Later in the year, on December 10 in Oslo, Norway, Dr. King received the Nobel Prize for Peace. Very good condition. Measures 6 x 9. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
