Madonna wore this 1940’s floor-length halter dress as her character Eva Peron in her 1996 film “Evita”. The long gray and black dress with silver weave is adorned with a swirl pattern print and was worn during the musical number “Goodnight and Thank You”, where Eva has dropped her previous lover for a military officer and they dine together. The dress is accompanied by photos from the film showing Madonna wearing the dress and a letter of authenticity from Palace Costumes signed by Melody Barnett.
