This is Madonna’s white satin, extensively rehearsal-worn bustier that she wore at Landmark Studios when she rehearsed for her "Blonde Ambition" tour. The bustier, with the iconic, exaggerated cone cups and suspender attachments, has eleven hook and eye closures to the rear. To the inside rear of the bustier is a small costume department tag with "MAD" hand written in black ink. Madonna's brother Christopher, used these tags on occasion on the "Who's That Girl" and "Blonde Ambition" items mainly to distinguish Madonna's costume from those of her backing vocalists. Christopher, an interior designer to many stars, was heavily involved in the staging of Madonna's 1990 ('Blond Ambition') and 1993 ('The Girlie Show') world tours and appears in the 'Blond Ambition' tour documentary "Truth or Dare". The bustier is accompanied by a picture of Madonna wearing a very similar white bustier on stage.
