This lot contains 6 signed paper items from Coretta Scott King and two additional items containing her stamped “facsimile” signature including an FDC envelope stamped with her signature twice and bearing a secretarial ink signature of Martin Luther King Jr. The wife of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Coretta herself was a highly influential American activist of African American equality and women's rights and carried on a legacy of social activism until her death in 2006.
