This lot contains five bank checks signed by highly influential American author Thomas Wolfe. Wolfe was one of the most prominent authors of the 1920's and 30's, and after his death in 1938 many of his contemporaries such as William Faulkner said he was perhaps the best writer of their generation. Each of the checks are dated 1937, just one year before his early death at the age of 37 years old. All in Very Good condition. Each measures 6.5" x 2.75". Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
