A group of eleven letters and a signature cut signed by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt . The letters date from the 1940s – 1950s with the exception of one letter from her which is handwritten and initial signed “ER” from the Executive Mansion in Albany when Franklin Roosevelt served as New York Governor. Six letters are typed on White House stationary. All signed “Eleanor Roosevelt,” but one which is signed “Eleanor.” The remaining four letters are signed “Eleanor Roosevelt” as is the signed 3 X 5 card. Letters vary in size, with the White House letters measuring about 6 X 9. Several letters are accompanied with their original mailing envelopes. Eleanor served as the first lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945, during her husband President Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms in office, making her the longest-serving first lady of the United States. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
