Prince owned and wore this Gianni Versace Couture purple suit consisting of a jacket and pants in the 1990's. The suit came from the personal collection of Prince's first wife, Mayte Garcia. Mayte had a large collection of Prince's stage and personally worn clothing and accessories, as well as personal items that he had left at his desk. Mayte was awarded the couple's villa in Spain and Prince had left these items in the home. Very good condition. The shirt is accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance from the individual who personally obtained the shirt from Mayte and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity. Also comes with a signed copy of Mayte Garcia's book, "The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince" in which she describes this type of clothing on page 111.
